Give it a Rest

People aren’t very good at resting, anymore; what we call rest often amounts to stolen moments of self-indulgence and sloth, not real refreshment. And yet the Bible depicts rest as a team effort, a shared celebration of contentment, connection, and completeness! This program year will be a time of resetting the pace and refreshing our connections with one another. This series will explore the ancient wisdom of resting by mutual consent and covenant, and leaning into neglected rhythms that are healthy, celebratory, and constructive for human hearts. God has designed us to make a fresh start at regular intervals in our mission!
